“Living Science” in action: an educational and research project for high school students is underway at WUNU
The second day of the “Science in Partnership” educational and scientific project at West Ukrainian National University was filled with new knowledge, new connections, and hands-on experience. It was on this day that the “Living Science” research phase began, offering high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves directly in the world of experiments.

International scientific internship for an associate professor from WUNU at Jagiellonian University (Poland)
Between 1 and 30 April 2026, Yaroslav Chaikovskyi, Associate Professor at the Department of FinTech and Banking of West Ukrainian National University, undertook an international scientific internship at Jagiellonian University (Krakow, Republic of Poland). Assoc. Prof. Chaikovskyi is a recipient of the Queen Jadwiga Scholarship for the 2025/2026 academic year.

WUNU researchers will develop strategies for the resilience of energy systems in wartime
Researchers of West Ukrainian National University have joined an international consortium that has won a grant competition organised by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with the research project ‘Data-Driven Strategies for Intelligent Resilient Renewable Energy Systems (IRRES) Under Wartime Conditions’. This project is interdisciplinary in nature and is coordinated by the Research and Development Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems.
