WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Anetta Zielińska, Associate Professor at the Wroclaw University of Economics (Poland) and Honorary Doctor of West Ukrainian National University, paid a working visit to the university.

 The staff of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT at West Ukrainian National University, in collaboration with its partners—Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Marmara University (Turkey), the Vienna University of Teacher Education (Austria), the B2 Ljubljana Business School (Slovenia), WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Poland), the Georgian-American University (Georgia) and the University of Rzeszów (Poland) — organised an international scientific and practical student conference entitled ‘The Modern Paradigm of Foreign-Language Business Communication: Leading International Practices and Intercultural Integration".

 Today, West Ukrainian National University hosted a veterans’ forum entitled ‘The Path of Opportunities: Education, Business and the Development of Veterans’ Initiatives’. The event served as an important platform for dialogue between the state authorities, the business community, educators, veterans and their families.

 On 1 May 2026 at 2.25 pm, as part of the School of Effective Management Leaders, a problem-based lecture entitled ‘Generational Conflict in Communication’ will take place.

 Recently, the staff of the Department of International and European Law at WUNU organised a mock court hearing in a civil case, which proved to be a major event for the students and all those involved in the educational process.

 Oleksandra Vasylchyshyn, a professor at the Department of Security and Law Enforcement of WUNU, took part in a study visit to Warsaw, organised as part of the Ukraine Programme for Learning Integrity in Financial Training (UPLIFT). The programme brought together participants from various fields with an interest in financial security and combating financial crime. The study visit was organised by the Centre for Financial Integrity (CFI) in collaboration with the UK’s Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).

 A graduation ceremony was held at the picturesque Zbarazh Castle to award diplomas to graduating students of the Faculty of Law of West Ukrainian National University. Graduates in the fields of ‘Law’, ‘International Law’ and ‘Law Enforcement’ received their diplomas.

 As part of efforts to expand international cooperation and implement innovative strategies for sustainable development, staff from the International Centre for Culture and Development, along with students Khrystyna Kazmirchuk, Viktoriia Mazurenko and Viktor Slabodukh from the B11 ‘Philology’ programme at West Ukrainian National University, took part in a working visit to the city of Ronneby (Sweden). The trip, which took place from 20 to 22 April 2026, was part of the ‘Water for Life’ project, funded by the Swedish International Centre for Local Democracy (ICLD).

 On 24–25 April 2026, the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference, ‘Ukraine in the Context of Legal System Reform: Current Realities and International Experience’, was held, organised by the staff of the Faculty of Law of West Ukrainian National University.
