WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

West Ukrainian National University is pleased to announce the opportunity to apply for the Coimbra Group scholarship programme for European Neighbourhood countries. We have received this information from the University of Graz under the terms of a signed memorandum of cooperation.

 The colour blue symbolises openness to dialogue and sincere expressions of support, and has become a sign of unity within West Ukrainian National University’s community. This year, the campaign to support people with autism took on a special significance, bringing together students, lecturers and university staff around the values of understanding, acceptance and accessibility.

 West Ukrainian National University continues to pursue international initiatives that open up new opportunities for the professional training and academic development of our students. The International Relations Office of WUNU is pleased to announce the results of the competitive selection among students for participation in an internship at Danubius University (Slovak Republic).

 Our university recently hosted a forum for discussing innovation and scientific and technological development, with a meeting of the IEEE Student Branch at West Ukrainian National University taking place. Participants focused on strategic plans for the branch’s development, discussing future projects and expanding opportunities for the professional growth of young specialists and researchers within the international community.

 The International Relations Office and the entire university community extend their warmest congratulations to the students who have demonstrated excellent academic achievement and professional competence and have been selected to participate in international academic mobility programmes during the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year.

 ONLY is an educational programme aimed at developing leadership skills within Ukrainian higher education institutions. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in mentoring sessions at their own universities, receiving support and practical advice from experienced mentors.

 West Ukrainian National University has received vital technical assistance to ensure the institution’s stable operation in the face of energy challenges. With the support of Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha and the co-founder of the Association of Ukrainian Diplomats’ Spouses, Tetiana Sybiha, the university has been provided with a STAGER 1158000053S3 generator, 53kVA, 69A, 1500rpm, Trifazat, purchased with funds raised by Romanian citizens as part of the ‘Heat for Ukraine’ initiative.

 From 23 to 27 March 2026, Roman Zvarych (Head of the Department of International Economic Relations at the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of WUNU, Doctor of Economics, Professor) and Larisa Verhun (Associate Professor at the same department), represented our university at the prestigious international event. This year's Inholland International Staff Training Week was held in Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Netherlands).

 We invite lecturers to take part in the training course ‘The ABC of SD & how to develop sustainable management skills?’, which will be held from 13 to 17 April 2026 in a blended format.

 The Political Communications Club held its latest meeting, focusing on the topical issue of ‘Youth political culture in the context of society’s digital transformation’. The event took place online, which enabled a wider range of participants to join the discussion.
