Workshop: ‘An Ecosystem of Collaboration: Education, Business and Government on the Path to Sustainable Development’
A workshop entitled ‘The Ecosystem of Cooperation: Education, Business and the State on the Path to Sustainable Development’ was recently held at Chernihiv Polytechnic National University, organised as part of the Erasmus+ KA2 SUSTED project ‘Education for Sustainable Development: Synergy of Competencies for Ukraine's Recovery’.
The event brought together over 100 participants – representatives of higher education institutions, central and local government bodies, the business sector, the civil society sector and international partners.
The main aim of the workshop was to create a platform for matchmaking, networking and aligning the interests of various stakeholder groups, with a view to developing comprehensive and balanced teaching materials designed to equip higher education students with up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in the field of sustainable development management.
Prof. Alina Zhukovska, Doctor of Economics, spoke on behalf of WUNU. She presented on the topic ‘The ecosystem of partnership between education, business and the state in ensuring the inclusive development of local communities’ and shared her own experience of implementing grant initiatives, using the example of the President of Ukraine’s grant for Doctors of Science
