Researchers of West Ukrainian National University have joined an international consortium that has won a grant competition organised by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) with the research project ‘Data-Driven Strategies for Intelligent Resilient Renewable Energy Systems (IRRES) Under Wartime Conditions’. This project is interdisciplinary in nature and is coordinated by the Research and Development Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems.

The staff of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT at West Ukrainian National University, in collaboration with its partners—Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Marmara University (Turkey), the Vienna University of Teacher Education (Austria), the B2 Ljubljana Business School (Slovenia), WSB Academy in Dąbrowa Górnicza (Poland), the Georgian-American University (Georgia) and the University of Rzeszów (Poland) — organised an international scientific and practical student conference entitled ‘The Modern Paradigm of Foreign-Language Business Communication: Leading International Practices and Intercultural Integration".

WUNU is one of the leading centres in financial security
Oleksandra Vasylchyshyn, a professor at the Department of Security and Law Enforcement of WUNU, took part in a study visit to Warsaw, organised as part of the Ukraine Programme for Learning Integrity in Financial Training (UPLIFT). The programme brought together participants from various fields with an interest in financial security and combating financial crime. The study visit was organised by the Centre for Financial Integrity (CFI) in collaboration with the UK’s Centre for Finance and Security (CFS) at the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI).
