The transformation of Ukrainian law on the path to the EU: a new joint project between WUNU and Osnabrück University, supported by the DAAD
The joint project ‘The Europeanisation of Ukrainian Law: A Comparative Law Platform for Training Young Researchers’, which received funding from the DAAD under the Leonhard Euler Programm, represents a significant achievement resulting from the long-standing academic partnership between WUNU and the Osnabrück University.
As part of the programme, early-career researchers will receive scholarship support, joint academic mentoring from Ukrainian and German scholars, and the opportunity to undertake research placements at Osnabrück University. The project also involves organising specialised seminars, working on doctoral research, preparing academic publications and drawing up recommendations on harmonising Ukrainian legislation with EU law.
The implementation of this initiative will contribute to the development of Ukrainian legal studies, the training of a new generation of lawyers, and the academic support for Ukraine’s integration into the European Union.
