West Ukrainian National University hosted the graduation ceremony for the second group of internally displaced persons who completed the retraining and social adaptation programme in entrepreneurship as part of the TURBO project “The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises”. The town of Havlíčkův Brod (Czech Republic) hosted the International Tournament in Greco-Roman Style for 2025, in which students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports and Economics and Business Management from West Ukrainian National University represented their university with dignity.

A meeting between Jan Van Zwieten, member of the Supervisory Board, and the university administration took place at West Ukrainian National University. During the dialogue, Jan Van Zwieten received information on the educational, scientific and international activities of our higher education institution, in particular the positioning of WUNU in national and international rankings. Jan Van Zwieten analysed in detail international partnerships, student mobility and the participation of WUNU scientists in international conferences.
