WUNU won the RITA (Region in Transition) international grant competition – ‘Polish-Ukrainian Regional Adaptation Centres – VOL.3’
West Ukrainian National University (Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports), together with a consortium of partners, won the RITA (Region in Transition) international grant competition – ‘Polsko-Ukraińskie Regionalne Adaptacyjne Centra – VOL.3’. The project aims to develop a network of academic centres that will provide support in the areas of mental health, physical fitness and social integration to people from high-risk groups.

At West Ukrainian National University, participants of the retraining and social adaptation programme for internally displaced persons are currently undertaking studies in the field of ‘Entrepreneurship’, which is being implemented as part of the international TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’). This project aims to support IDPs, develop entrepreneurial skills, facilitate professional adaptation to new living conditions, and create opportunities for self-fulfilment.
