WUNU representatives have wrapped up international training as part of the ‘Polish-Ukrainian Regional Adaptation Centres – Vol. 3’ project
Representatives of West Ukrainian National University have completed an international training course held from 16 to 21 March 2026 in Bydgoszcz (Republic of Poland) as part of the project ‘Polsko-Ukrainskie Regionalne Adaptacyjne Centra – Vol. 3’, co-funded by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation under the RITA programme – ‘Changes in the Region’, implemented by the ‘Education for Democracy’ Foundation.
Taking part in the training provided an opportunity to learn about modern approaches to the work of adaptation centres, practices relating to adaptation games, and the experience of Polish and Ukrainian partners in supporting various social groups.
A key outcome of West Ukrainian National University’s participation in the project is the planned opening of an adaptation centre at the university, which will focus on supporting students with special educational needs, internally displaced persons and veterans.
Participation in the project contributes to the development of an inclusive university environment, the expansion of international cooperation and the implementation of modern, socially oriented practices.
