An online meeting was held between Ukrainian universities participating in the Baltic University Programme (BUP), bringing together representatives from Ukraine’s leading higher education institutions to coordinate future cooperation. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the event organisers — our colleagues from Lviv Polytechnic National University — for their insightful moderation and professional preparation of the meeting.

Representing West Ukrainian National University, Yuliia Palaniuk, Head of the International Relations Office, Leonid Bytsiura, Head of the Department of Ecology and Public Health, and representatives of the university’s International Relations Office took part in the discussion.

During the meeting, participants examined the network's plan of activities and educational initiatives for 2026 in detail, including new opportunities for academic mobility, joint research and environmental projects. Following the event, WUNU will establish a working group to implement the planned initiatives.

We are confident that harnessing the potential of our academic community for BUP’s international projects will help strengthen the university’s position within the European higher education space and open new doors for our staff and students.
