Transcarpathian Education and Research Centre of WUNU in the international scientific arena

 Recently, the 12th International Conference in Philosophy and Canon Law was held in Prešov (Slovak Republic), bringing together scholars and researchers from various countries. A delegation from the West Ukrainian National University took part in the conference: Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Research Uliana Koruts, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities Oksana Homotiuk, and Director of the Transcarpathian Education and Research Centre of WUNU Edita Grabar.



Scientific and educational cooperation between WUNU and universities in Lublin

 Within the framework of expanding scientific and educational cooperation between Lubelska Akademia WSEI and West Ukrainian National University, as well as Lublin University of Technology and West Ukrainian National University, Dr. Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi, Professor of Economics and Economic Theory at WUNU, paid a working visit to Lublin.



Successful completion of TURBO project training at WUNU: new knowledge – new opportunities!

 West Ukrainian National University hosted the graduation ceremony of the retraining and social adaptation programme for internally displaced persons in the field of entrepreneurship, implemented within the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’).



Recently, the 13th scientific conference was held in Sofia (Bulgaria)

 ‘New Economy 2025: New Approaches to Growth and a Sustainable Future’, which has been co-organised for several years by the Department of Economics and Economic Theory of the West Ukrainian National University together with the Oikos Institute – Research Center Bijeljina (Bosnia and Herzegovina).



WUNU and International Staff Week in Poznan: international experience and new ideas

 West Ukrainian National University actively develops international cooperation. Recently, Yuliia Kmet, a representative of the International Relations Office of WUNU, took part in International Staff Week 2025, which was held at the Poznan University of Economics and Business (Republic of Poland).



Students and faculty of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy participate in the European Kaleidoscope: A Taste of Hungary

 Recently, a vibrant cultural and artistic event entitled ‘European Kaleidoscope: A Taste of Hungary’ was held in Ternopil, organised by the Hungarian Embassy in Ukraine and the Honorary Consulate of Hungary in Ternopil as part of the Europe Day celebrations.



WUNU expands cooperation with Israeli partners

 West Ukrainian National University actively pursues international relations as a strategic vector of its activity. Such interaction creates platforms for the exchange of information and scientific and educational achievements, forming prerequisites for joint project work and attracting new opportunities to stimulate scientific research in promising fields.



West Ukrainian National University is the co-organiser of the international conference EECME 2025

 The 7th Eastern European Conference on Management and Economics (EECME 2025) ‘Rethinking Growth – Strategies for Sustainable Economies in a Globalised World’ was recently held in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event was held in a hybrid format and brought together scientists and practitioners from more than ten countries, who presented their latest research in the fields of economics, management, digital transformation and sustainable development.



International Staff Week in Ljubljana

 Employees of the International Relations Office and the Director of the International Centre for Culture and Development of our university took part in the 6th International Staff Week entitled ‘Rethinking Growth – The Role of Strategic Management Approaches in Global Higher Education’, which was held on 19–23 May 2025 at B2 Ljubljana School of Business (Ljubljana, Slovenia).



Partnership dialogue with The Global Resilience Centre: joint steps towards building a support system for veterans

 An online meeting with international partners, ‘Partnership Dialogue with The Global Resilience Centre: European Practices of Sustainability and Reforms,’ was held at the West Ukrainian National University. The event brought together representatives of the university community, the National Police of Ukraine, the Netherlands Business Academy and the Global Resilience Centre (GRC, Netherlands) to discuss opportunities for joint work in the field of psychological support and rehabilitation for veterans.
