The international scientific conference ACIT'2025 has concluded its work

 On September 19, 2025, the official closing ceremony of the international scientific conference 2025 15th International Conference on Advanced Computer Information Technologies (ACIT'2025) took place. The event brought together scientists, teachers, graduate students, and undergraduates from many countries to present the results of their research, share research ideas, and discuss current problems in the development of information technologies.



Step by step in the legal field

 As part of the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’), internally displaced persons, together with Oksana Shevchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative and Financial Law, studied the regulatory framework governing the organisation and conduct of entrepreneurial activity.



WUNU educator took part in working meetings with partners from Dresden University of Technology

 At the invitation of the Center for Open Digital Innovation and Participation (CODIP) of Dresden University of Technology, on September 1–2, 2025, Mykhailo Dombrovskyi, senior lecturer of the Department for Information Computer Systems and Control, warrantor of the educational-professional programme “Project Management,” took part in consultations and working meetings focused on the preparation of joint scientific and educational projects.



New milestones in cooperation with Japanese universities

 On 28-29 August 2025, the teaching staff, students and postgraduates of the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance of the West Ukrainian National University had the opportunity to participate in the first International Valuism Conference 2025, which was held in Kyoto (Japan).



WUNU launches training for IDPs as part of the international TURBO project

 Another group of internally displaced persons has begun studying at the West Ukrainian National University as part of a free training course on entrepreneurship, which is being implemented jointly with the NGO Educational and Social Innovations with the financial support of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency as part of the international project "The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises" (TURBO). The project coordinator in Ukraine is the International Foundation for Social Adaptation.



A new stage of international cooperation between WUNU and scientists from Cyprus

 On 4 August 2025, an important working meeting was held between the team of the Department of Information Systems and Computer Engineering of WUNU and partners from Omnia Research Innovations Solutions (Republic of Cyprus) on the preparation of a joint project application for Erasmus+ KA2.

 Today, on 2 July 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine Martin Oberg visited West Ukrainian National University. During the meeting with students and teachers of the university, topical issues of European integration processes were discussed.
