WUNU expands international cooperation: agreement signed with Tomas Bata University in Zlin
A cooperation agreement between West Ukrainian National University and Tomas Bata University in Zlin (Czech Republic) was signed today in Czechia. The signing ceremony was attended by Milan Adámek, Rector of Tomas Bata University, and Mykola Dyvak, Vice-Rector for Research of West Ukrainian National University.
WUNU scholars participated in International Staff Week
From 2 to 12 May 2025, Associate Professors of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT Tetiana Panychok and Iryna Humovska took part in the International Staff Week at the DHBW Cooperative State University (Karlsruhe, Germany). The week's programme was intense and varied, covering key aspects of contemporary developments in higher education, international cooperation and cultural exchange.

WUNU delegation visits a research university in Gliwice
In preparation for the 13th International IEEE Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS 2025) and to strengthen partnerships, the delegation of the West Ukrainian National University, led by Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk, visited the co-organiser of IDAACS 2025 - the Silesian University of Technology (SUT), Gliwice, Poland, which has the status of a 'research university', from 7 to 9 April 2025.
First psychological aid training: support and recovery
Zoriana Krupnyk, a certified trainer and associate professor of psychology and social work at the West Ukrainian National University, conducted an important training on first psychological aid for the participants of the TURBO project “The Universities' Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises.”
Visit of a foreign delegation to the Law Faculty of WUNU
On February 28 - March 3, within the framework of WUNU's cooperation agreements with the Jagiellonian and Osnabrück Universities, a delegation of foreign scholars, including Fryderyk Zoll, prof, Doctor Honoris Causa, Professor at the Jagiellonian and Osnabrück Universities, member of the Supervisory Board of the West Ukrainian National University, and Viktor Antoliak, doctoral student at the Department of Criminal Law at the Jagiellonian University, attorney at law.
