Ivanna Svystun shares her impressions of studying at the Poznań University of Economics and Business
"My name is Ivanna Svystun, and I am a fourth-year student at the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations at WUNU. I am majoring in International Relations. Currently, I have a wonderful opportunity to study for a semester at the Poznan University of Economics and Business as part of an academic exchange programme under a bilateral agreement between our universities.

Students of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations at WUNU, who are studying under the International Relations educational programme – Solomia Okun, Yelyzaveta Chernetska, Bohdan Mykhailyshyn, and Daria Syniarska – took part in the autumn SD Campus, which was an inspiring experience and a true school of leadership for them. The event was organised by the SD Platform NGO with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation.
Students of WUNU awarded regional awards on the occasion of International Volunteer Day
Celebrations marking International Volunteer Day took place on 5 December at the Ternopil Regional Council. Volunteers from all corners of the region took part in the event. Among them were students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of the West Ukrainian National University — Khrystyna Baumketner, Diana Humenna, Nataliia Petryshyn, Kateryna Shapoval, and student dean Vladyslav Barna. For their active community work, significant personal contribution to the development of the volunteer movement, and demonstrated patriotism, they were awarded certificates of recognition from the Ternopil Regional Council.

The university community joined the charity initiative ‘St. Nicholas Day for All Ages’
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the teaching staff and students of WUNU joined the charity campaign ‘St. Nicholas Day for All Ages’, in which young people from our city, together with employees of the Ternopil charity fund ‘Caritas,’ will visit the homes of lonely elderly people to give them sweet gifts and share with them the warmth and joy of the coming holiday.

Let's do good together: the library's charity campaign for the winter holidays
This year, the staff of the L. Kanishchenko Library of WUNU and everyone who supported their initiative became true helpers of St. Nicholas. Throughout December, they organised a collection of gifts for children who eagerly await the winter holidays and a little miracle. Thanks to the kindness of our colleagues and friends of the library, it was possible to put together dozens of packages with sweets, toys, art supplies, and other nice little things that are sure to put the children in a festive mood.
