Let's do good together: the library's charity campaign for the winter holidays
This year, the staff of the L. Kanishchenko Library of WUNU and everyone who supported their initiative became true helpers of St. Nicholas. Throughout December, they organised a collection of gifts for children who eagerly await the winter holidays and a little miracle. Thanks to the kindness of our colleagues and friends of the library, it was possible to put together dozens of packages with sweets, toys, art supplies, and other nice little things that are sure to put the children in a festive mood.

An important online meeting took place as part of a series of practical training sessions for students enrolled in the International Relations educational programme. Students of the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of WUNU had the opportunity to discuss current affairs with students from the University of Portsmouth (UK) on the topic "War and Disinformation: Ukrainian and British perspectives on the hostilities in Ukraine."

Students majoring in Law Enforcement and National Security, together with Yulia Muravska, Head of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement, and Olha Karapetian, Associate Professor of the Department, made an educational visit to the Territorial Office of the Bureau of Economic Security in Lviv Region.

Students majoring in Philology and teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages and ICT of WUNU took part in the annual virtual visit to the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation (DG Translation), which provided them with an opportunity to learn about the daily work of EU translators and find out more about modern translation practices in European institutions.
