West Ukrainian National University invites students of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations to join the international COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) project, which is being implemented as part of the BUSA 7250 Management Skills and Applications course.

The project involves international online collaboration between Ukrainian and Canadian students in the form of practice-oriented learning. Teams will be formed of four Canadian and three Ukrainian students, who will work together on management research in an intercultural environment.

As part of the COIL project, students will establish a student consulting company; conduct research on two real companies — one Canadian and one Ukrainian; analyse management practices, strategy, organisational structure, corporate culture, social responsibility, innovation and inclusion; develop a work plan, assign roles within the team, and present the results of their joint research.

The project combines academic knowledge with practical skills, promotes leadership, teamwork, strategic thinking and intercultural communication, and provides students with valuable experience in international cooperation.

Ukrainian students who participate in the project will receive official confirmation (certificate) of their involvement in the international COIL project.

Classes will be held every Thursday: 8:30–12:20 (Vancouver time), 18:30–22:20 (Kyiv time).

For all interested students, an introductory meeting will be held on 9 January at 10:30 a.m. in the Electronic Resources Hall, during which the project format, participation requirements and organisational details will be presented.

We invite active and motivated students who are eager to gain international academic experience, develop management skills and work in an international team.
