The Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine's Public Diplomacy Centre hosted the Young Diplomat Award 2025 ceremony, organised by United Youth. As part of the event, the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation announced a special award for the best original practices in the field of youth diplomacy.

Liudmyla Haliulko, a student of the EMN-41 group at the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations, was included in the list of winners with her project ‘Responsibility Checklist,’ a checklist of actions for foreign citizens who want to support Ukraine.

The project aims to promote simple and accessible ways to support Ukraine abroad. The checklist contains a list of small daily actions — from trying to cook a Ukrainian dish to reading Ukrainian literature or sharing verified information. These activities do not require significant resources, but gradually form a broader understanding of Ukrainian culture and promote international solidarity.

The initiative emphasises that support for Ukraine can be more than just financial or governmental assistance: individual actions by citizens of different countries play an important role in creating a positive image of Ukraine in the world through everyday, cultural and educational activities.

The recognition of the initiative underscores the importance of small and systematic actions in the field of public diplomacy and demonstrates the active participation of Ukrainian students in shaping the international information environment.

The checklist was developed with the support of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) and presented at the European Youth Event in Strasbourg and other events.

In the future, the initiative, along with other notable practices, will be published in a special collection.
