Carolling at WUNU
On the eve of the winter holidays, the creative youth of West Ukrainian National University, following a good tradition, once again brought to life the ancient history of the Christmas nativity scene. The students sincerely wove folk carols into the living canvas of modernity and conveyed to each spectator the unique atmosphere of Christmas, which has lived in Ukrainian culture for centuries.
The melodious sounds of vocal nativity scenes harmoniously alternated with dramatic scenes, creating a coherent story in which the warmest wishes for peace, unquenchable joy and family prosperity echoed again and again. For the entire university community, this event became a true celebration of the spirit, as Christmas songs familiar from childhood, performed by a new generation, took on a fresh sound and once again proved that folk art remains alive and relevant.
Poetic words, music, and the sincerity of young hearts created a special space where everyone could experience the profound meaning of nativity art. By cherishing this cultural heritage, young people bridge generations and remind us all of the eternal victory of light, which is born every winter with the first Christmas star.
