WUNU student win a medal at the European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling
On 1 and 2 July 2025, the Italian city of Caorle hosted the U-20 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships among athletes under the age of 20. Anatolii Pasnak, a student of the West Ukrainian National University, took part in the competition. In a tense struggle, he won bronze in the 72 kg weight category.

Recently, students of the educational and professional programme ‘Physical Education and Sport’ at the West Ukrainian National University, together with Natalia Bezpalova, acting head of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports, and Roman Gakh, associate professor of the department, took part in an international academic mobility programme within the framework of the programme ‘Organisation of Sports and Recreation in European Union Countries’.
