Bronze at the Summer Biathlon World Championships
The Summer Biathlon World Championships among juniors in Ruhpolding (Germany) is underway. At the competition, Vitalii Mandzyn, student of West Ukrainian National University, won the bronze medal in the junior pursuit race.

WUNU student successfully performed at the European Athletics Championships
The finalist of the Tokyo Olympics, the student of West Ukrainian National University, Viktoriia Tkachuk, won the silver medal at the European Athletics Championships in the 400 m hurdles, which is being held in Munich.

Serhii Tarnovskyi won a silver medal at the European Championship
In Munich, the European Championships (multisport event) are underway, within which the European canoeing championship took place.
A student of West Ukrainian National University, Serhii Tarnovskyi, won the silver medal in the 500 m race among men.

WUNU student is the winner of the World Rowing Championship!
Recently, the World Championships in kayaking and canoeing ended in Halifax, Canada. The Ukrainian national team won five awards: two gold, one silver and two bronze medals.
With a result of 23:37.85 for 5000 m, the student of West Ukrainian National University, Serhii Tarnovskyi, became the world champion.

WUNU is at the TOP at the European University Games
The volleyball team of West Ukrainian National University entered the TOP-6 universities at the European University Games in Lodz. On July 17, our girls beat the Masaryk University (Czech Republic) with a score of 3:1, and on July 18, they won against a university from Munich by 3:0. Thus, in the second group stage, our team will play with universities from Bologna and Zagreb.
U-20 European Basketball Championship
Vitalii Shymanskyi, a student of West Ukrainian National University, will take part in the U-20 European Basketball Championship as part of the Ukrainian national team. The competition will be held in Montenegro from July 16 to July 24.

WUNU students at the European University Games
The European University Games will be held in Lodz (Poland) from July 14th to July 31st. 5,000 students from 40 countries and 400 European universities will take part in the competition!
The Ukrainian national team will be represented by 234 students from 45 universities of Ukraine. They will compete in 16 sports: badminton, basketball, 3x3 basketball, water polo, volleyball, beach volleyball, handball, judo, karate, kickboxing, table tennis, taekwondo, beach handball, football, futsal, chess.
Preparation for the European Rugby Championship
Yulia Horoshko, a graduate of the College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies of West Ukrainian National University, is taking part in the training sessions in Lodz with the national team of Ukraine. Athletes are preparing for the European Rugby 7 Championship among women's U-18 teams.
Victory in athletics competition!
A student of West Ukrainian National University, Tetiana Kohut, won the athletics competition held in Bergamo (Italy). The girl won with the result that will allow her to participate in the U-20 World Championship, which will be held this year in Colombia.
