IBU Junior Biathlon Cup
The IBU Junior Biathlon Cup took place in Haanja (Estonia). The athletes of West Ukrainian National University successfully performed at this competition: Oleksandra Merkushyna won a bronze medal and Vitalii Mandzyn won a silver medal.

The students of West Ukrainian National University have received acknowledgement from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for their successful performance and worthy representation of Ukraine at the Student Martial Arts World Cup.

Oleksandra Merkushyna, a student of WUNU's Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies, won a bronze medal in the individual 10 km biathlon race at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Forne-Avoltra, Italy.

The Women's Sprint Biathlon at the European Youth Olympic Festival took place on Tuesday, January 24 in Forne-Avoltra, Italy.
Ukrainian biathlete, Oleksandra Merkushyna, who is a student of WUNU Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies won the first gold medal for the Ukrainian national team at the EYOF-2023.
WUNU student - world champion in luge sports among juniors!
Yuliana Tunytska, a student of West Ukrainian National University, has become the world champion in luge sports among juniors.
The competition took place in Bludenz, Austria on January 15.

Recently, a celebratory final meeting of the Athletics Federation of the Ternopil region was held in the K15 business center. The title of the best track and field athlete of the Ternopil Oblast in 2022 among youth and juniors was won by students of West Ukrainian National University - talented runners Viktor Hnativ and Tetiana Kohut.
Bronze at the Christmas biathlon race
A Christmas biathlon race among juniors took place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The bronze award in this prestigious competition was won by WUNU students, namely: Vitalii Mandzyn (Faculty of Finance and Accounting) and Oleksandra Merkushyna (Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies of WUNU).

WUNU student - silver medalist of the international judo tournament
Mykhailo Svidrak, a student of West Ukrainian National University, became the silver medalist of the international judo tournament competing for the national team of Ukraine. The competition was held in Monaco on December 11, 2022.
A student of West Ukrainian National University will compete at the European Cross Country Championships
From November 8 to December 8, the training camp of the national team of Ukraine was practicing in Uzhgorod in order to prepare for the European Cross Country Championships, which will be held in Turin (Italy) on December 9-12, 2022.
Tetiana Kohut, a student of West Ukrainian National University, will represent our country as part of the national team of Ukraine.
