On 24 February, on the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, students and postgraduates majoring in Political Science at the Serhiy Konoval Department of Political Science and Philosophy at WUNU took part in an important television project on TV-4.
International Day Against Violence and Bullying
On 27 February, the global community unites for an important mission — to step up the campaign against bullying, protect human dignity and support those who have suffered from aggression. West Ukrainian National University traditionally joins this initiative, emphasising once again that bullying is not a method of education or a ‘test of strength,’ but a deliberate, systematic violation of human rights and a undermining of psychological security.
Participants in the educational project ‘English for War Veterans and Their Families’ shared their impressions
West Ukrainian National University is continuing its educational project ‘English for War Veterans and Their Families,’ which involves retired war veterans and their families, family members of fallen (deceased) war veterans, and family members of Ukraine's fallen defenders who live in Ternopil, Kremenets, Berezhany, Skalat, Buchach, Pidvolochysk, Chortkiv, Zbarazh, and other locations. Training is conducted at the Education and Research Centre for Study of Foreign Languages of WUNU in both Ternopil and Kremenets (with the support of the Kremenets Regional Taras Shevchenko Academy of Humanities and Pedagogy).

Student feedback on semester-long Erasmus+ studies in Croatia
Students of West Ukrainian National University completed a semester of study at the University of Applied Sciences in Šibenik (Croatia) as part of the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme. We are delighted that our youngsters have been mastering the intricacies of their chosen specialities, integrating into the European educational community and representing their home university with honour abroad.

From 13 to 15 February 2026, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology and Healthcare Oleksandr Bondar took part in the events of the international ecological project SoilTribes, dedicated to soils, sustainable land use and environmental education, which took place in three cities in Portugal – Beja, Castro Verde and Entradas.
