A lecture by Mike Richardson, an Irish expert, held at WUNU
Modern education involves not only learning under the guidance of lecturers, but also the active involvement of international experts, which gives students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with cutting-edge international practices and the latest trends in high-tech development.
Students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies had the opportunity to attend a lecture by Mike Richardson (Ireland) — an international expert in photonics, quantum technologies and innovation clusters, and a Visiting Scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (Fraunhofer IZM), Berlin. Mike Richardson is also the Founder of Defence Technology Cluster Ireland.
His professional work focuses on defense technology consulting, photonics, quantum sensing, and international research collaboration.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn about current trends in the development of photonics and quantum technologies, as well as to find out about international experience in establishing innovation clusters and implementing joint scientific and technological projects.
