Study and leisure – a perfect balance for students
Students enrolled in the Agronomy (AGR-12) and Ecology (ECOL-21) programmes at the Institute of Innovation, Nature Management and Infrastructure at WUNU, accompanied by their mentor Iryna Liubezna, visited the ‘Fortuna’ horse ranch after their classes.
At the ranch, the students learnt more about horse care, eco-balance, and the relationship between feed quality, soil and animal health.
Practical examples helped illustrate that agronomy and ecology extend far beyond the classroom – they pertain to the harmony between nature and humankind.
The most emotional moment for many students was their first time riding a horse. Smiles, a sense of freedom and trust in the animal brought the group closer together and created shared memories.
Such events not only broaden students’ knowledge but also strengthen team spirit, demonstrating that university life is a balance between study and memorable moments of leisure.
