WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 As part of the VII International Week at the West Ukrainian National University, on September 9, 2025, Professor Dr. Carsten Wolff, Director of the IDiAL Institute of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (FH Dortmund), Honorary Professor of WUNU, presented the lecture "Digital Transformation Projects" for undergraduate, graduate and PhD students of the Faculty of Computer Information Technologies.

 As part of the Seventh International Week of the West Ukrainian National University, we invite students to attend the event Diplomatic Talks & Student Dialogue: International Economics and Economic Diplomacy in the 21st Century.

 As part of the International Week of the West Ukrainian National University, a lecture will be held on the topic: ‘Marketing in large international companies: career insights.’ The lecturer is Valentyna Rybakova, Business Development Manager at Nestlé Ukraine, an expert with over 10 years of experience in international marketing.

 As part of the International Week at West Ukrainian National University, we invite students to attend the MITACS Programme Presentation event. The speaker is Yaryna Loik, MITACS Programme Coordinator in Ukraine.

 It is a tradition at universities in EU countries, of which Ukraine aspires to become a member, to hold inaugural lectures by renowned scientists, politicians, businesspeople and public figures on the first day of the academic year.

 The Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience held a training course for specialists working with veterans and in veteran spaces – ‘Trauma Awareness: Psychological Support Skills’.

 The Department of International Relations and Diplomacy of the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations at the West Ukrainian National University invites you to join an international seminar on peace studies entitled ‘Advancing Knowledge on Peace. An International and Interdisciplinary Dialogue for Ukrainian Reconstruction and Sustainable Development.’

 Another group of internally displaced persons has begun studying at the West Ukrainian National University as part of a free training course on entrepreneurship, which is being implemented jointly with the NGO Educational and Social Innovations with the financial support of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency as part of the international project "The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises" (TURBO). The project coordinator in Ukraine is the International Foundation for Social Adaptation.

 In August, two groups of Educational Security Service employees completed a three-day course on ‘Psychological Self-Help and Helping Others Skills.’ The training was conducted by specialists from our centre, associate professors of the Department of Psychology and Social Work, and trainers from the Israel Trauma Coalition, Tetiana Nadvynychna and Zoriana Krupnyk.

 The International Center for Culture and Development of WUNU announces a competitive selection for participation in the European Youth Forum EYFON YouthDays “Back2Basic” to be held on September 1-5 in Neumarkt, Austria.
