WUNU launches training for IDPs as part of the international TURBO project
Another group of internally displaced persons has begun studying at the West Ukrainian National University as part of a free training course on entrepreneurship, which is being implemented jointly with the NGO Educational and Social Innovations with the financial support of the European Education and Culture Executive Agency as part of the international project "The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises" (TURBO). The project coordinator in Ukraine is the International Foundation for Social Adaptation.
Employees of the Educational Security Service completed a training course in first psychological aid
In August, two groups of Educational Security Service employees completed a three-day course on ‘Psychological Self-Help and Helping Others Skills.’ The training was conducted by specialists from our centre, associate professors of the Department of Psychology and Social Work, and trainers from the Israel Trauma Coalition, Tetiana Nadvynychna and Zoriana Krupnyk.
