WUNU student won 20,000 UAH for ‘Sustainable 3D Printing’ in a grant pitching competition
Friends, just imagine: two talented students, two brilliant eco-projects, an expert panel led by Acting Rector Viktor Ostroverkhov, project manager, Chair of the Academic Council and Head of the S. I. Yuriy Department of Finance Andriy Krysovatyy, and 20,000 UAH to make their dreams a reality! This is exactly how the university grant pitching event concluded on 5 November at West Ukrainian National University – the finale of the project ‘European Inclusive Circular Economy: A Post-Pandemic Module for Ukraine’ as part of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module programme.

A meeting between Jan Van Zwieten, member of the Supervisory Board, and the university administration took place at West Ukrainian National University. During the dialogue, Jan Van Zwieten received information on the educational, scientific and international activities of our higher education institution, in particular the positioning of WUNU in national and international rankings. Jan Van Zwieten analysed in detail international partnerships, student mobility and the participation of WUNU scientists in international conferences.

The West Ukrainian National University (WUNU) once again served as a powerful platform for the exchange of knowledge, scientific research, and ideas that promote the development of international relations, human rights, and sustainable development. The V International Scientific Readings named after Bohdan Hawrylyshyn, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of WUNU’s founding, took place at the B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

We invite graduate students majoring in IT at West Ukrainian National University to participate in a competitive selection for semester-long study at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Fachhochschule Dortmund) in the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The duration of the mobility programme is five months. The programme is taught in English.
