WUNU student win a medal at the European Championship in Greco-Roman wrestling
On 1 and 2 July 2025, the Italian city of Caorle hosted the U-20 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships among athletes under the age of 20. Anatolii Pasnak, a student of the West Ukrainian National University, took part in the competition. In a tense struggle, he won bronze in the 72 kg weight category.

On the final day of the second stage of the World Cup in kayaking and canoeing, which took place in Poznan (Poland), a student of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the West Ukrainian National University won a silver medal in the 200-metre race (single kayak).

Anton Moiseiev, a student of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, won a silver medal at the International Beach Volleyball Competition of the Futures series.
The competition was held in the Brazilian city of Marica. The championship was attended by 28 teams from 11 countries.
