University pride: WUNU student Iryna Sheheda performed the Ukrainian national anthem at the Ternopil stadium
The Central City Stadium in Ternopil hosted the match of the 8th round of the VBET Ukrainian Premier League between FC Epicenter and FC Zorya.
Before the game began, the Ukrainian national anthem was performed by Iryna Sheheda, a student of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting at the West Ukrainian National University, and an employee of WUNU's Fine Arts and Personal Development Office, who has won numerous awards at national and international festivals.
Her soulful, sincere, and powerful performance infused the stadium with a sense of pride and unity, demonstrating the indomitable Ukrainian spirit and talent of our youth. Such moments prove that Ukrainian songs come from the heart, and that the younger generation is confidently spreading their love for their homeland throughout the world.
