TNEU in the Google Scholar ranking
According to the results of this year's (June 2018, version 6.0, beta!) global evaluation of the quality of universities’ scientific activity, Ternopil National Economic University was in 8th place among 118 Ukrainian universities included in the world ranking and 2297 place in the global rating, which has 5808 educational institutions.
The evaluation was conducted by Webometrics ( https://webometrics.info/en/transparent ) through analysis of the citation of scientists in the Google Scholar database. Our university has once again confirmed its excellence as a European-style higher education institution! We are proud of the hard work of TNEU scientists and look forward to new achievements.
Ternopil National Economic University ranked first in the webometric rating among Ukrainian universities!
According to the evaluation results of the quality of the world universities’ scientific activity in July 2018 conducted by Webometrics (https://webometrics.info/en/transparent), Ternopil National Economic University ranked first among 326 Ukrainian universities included in the ranking and 760th in the global ranking of 12,000 educational institutions. Our university has again confirmed the excellence of its staff and educational facilities!

Student Research at TNEU is illustrious!
Ternopil National Economic University became the best among higher education institutions of economic profile according to the orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the results of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads and the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Scientific Works in the 2017-2018 academic year.
We sincerely congratulate 23 TNEU students who have won the second stage of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad, as well as 50 students - winners of the second round of the All-Ukrainian Student Scientific Contest! We are proud that the youth of our university take an active part in scientific activity, forming a promising generation of future leaders.

TNEU among the leaders in the international uniRank rating!
uniRank, an international ranking of universities since 2005, has recently been updated based on webometric data from 5 different web analytics sources. The ranking of world universities is based on an assessment of the popularity of their websites in terms of traffic, trust and quality of link activity.
Ternopil National Economic University holds the 6th place among all Ukrainian higher education institutions. We congratulate the TNEU team with a great achievement. We wish interesting work and new findings!

TNEU has joined the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings
In October our university joined the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, which, since 2010, is an important initiative to implement sustainable development in higher education institutions around the world. Currently, 619 universities from all corners of our planet are registered in the global UI GreenMetric rating, among them seven Ukrainian institutions.
According to the requirements of the Initiative, an environmental passport of the Ternopil National Economic University was created. It shows the attitude of our institution to the environment according to six groups of criteria: creation of a favorable eco-landscape environment, energy saving, savings of water resources, waste management, the use of ZeroEmission vehicles , conducting educational activities and research in the field of sustainable development.
Participating in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings enables universities to measure their own sustainable development policies, share experiences and learn about best practices in environmental issues with other universities in the network, and build on future collaboration to make our world better.
TNEU in the updated Webometrics Ranking of World Universities
Recently Webometrics Ranking of World Universities (January 2019, Edition 2019.1.0.) was updated. According to the rating, Ternopil National Economic University ranked 6th among Ukrainian higher education institutions (https://www.webometrics.info/en/Europe/Ukraine%20)!
Webometrics University Ranking, is compiled by one of the largest research institutions in Europe, the Spanish National Research Council, and evaluates almost 30,000 higher education institutions from around the globe. This year 326 Ukrainian higher education institutions were considered in the rating.
Universities are evaluated using a combination of four indicators:
- PRESENCE - the number of pages on the websites in the main domain of the institution (including sub-domains and directories) that are indexed by the Google search engine - 5%;
- VISIBILITY - the number of external hyperlinks to the domain of the university - 50%;
- TRANSPARENCY - the number of citations of the top authors of the institution (the top ten authors with the exception of data on the most cited author) in the Google Academy (Top Universities by Google Scholar Citations) - 10%;
- EXCELLENCE - publicationsby the university staff in the international scientific journals that are among 10% of the most cited in their field according to the Scimago rating (for the five-year period (2012-2016) - 35%.
The TNEU project is in the TOP 5 best scientific works of young scientists of Ukraine
The scientific work on "Creating a Mechanism for Sustainable Urban Transport Based on the Concept of a" Smart "City and Municipal Ecology" "(state registration number 0117U003871)" under supervision of Doctor of Economic Sciences, Prof. Monastyrskyi and Doctor of Economic Sciences, Assoc. Prof. Borysova took 5th place based on the results of the final examination of 121 projects of young scientists’ scientific works (Order №795 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine of June 7, 2019).
World Ranking of Transparency of Institutional Repositories of Universities and Other Educational Institutions
We sincerely congratulate the TNEU University community for their brilliant achievement in the updated World Transparent Ranking of Repositories https://repositories.webometrics.info/en/transparent.
The rating is based on the number of scientific papers placed in the repository and indexed by the Google Scholar database. According to the rating results, Ternopil National Economic University has risen from 177th to 107th place! In the world rating of institutional repositories L. Kanishchenko TNEU Library occupies the 96th slot! https://repositories.webometrics.info/en/node/32.

Great news! TNEU is the first among Ukrainian higher education institutions according to the results of this year's evaluation of the quality of universities’ scientific activity!
In July, an updated rating (July 2019, version 8.0.0, beta!, https://webometrics.info/en/transparent) was published, based on a citation analysis of scientists from Google Scholar's Webometrics database.
This year only 70 Ukrainian HEIs are included in the rating, and Ternopil National Economic University is the leader among them!

TNEU in the TOP-100 of the most popular universities among entrants
According to the information system "Vstup. OSVITA.UA", which publishes
rating lists of entrants, more than 1 million 500 thousand applications
have been submitted to educational institutions.
Ternopil National Economic University is ranked 30th in the rating,
which confirms the interest of entrants to enter our higher education
institution. The table includes all applications for admission to the
Bachelor's and Master's Degree programmes based on full secondary
education in all forms of study as of July 24, 2019.
We remind that Information system Vstup.OSVITA.UA publishes current
ratings of entrants for more than 78 000 competitive offers from all
universities, institutes, academies, colleges and technical colleges of
Ukraine, which carry out the admission of entrants for the degree of
junior specialist, bachelor or master's degree.
