WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

 Dear Sirs, 

I cannot imagine how you feel with the current situation ...   I'm very sorry for all Ukrainian people.

 The Polish-Ukrainian scientific partnership has a long and good history. The classical university of Ternopil has established international cooperation with numerous universities and organizations in Poland.

 Today, there is a constant tension throughout the country, a curfew has been imposed, shelling, bombing and sabotage have periodically taken place, making new victims out of innocent people and children. In such circumstances, providing appropriate medical care to those in need can be extremely difficult, and sometimes impossible.

 Our colleague, Professor Richard Milton Green, addressed the staff of West Ukrainian National University today. He has repeatedly visited WUNU at the invitation of the Department of Foreign Languages, Information and Communication Technologies to give lectures to students of B. Havrylyshyn Education and Research Institute of International Relations.

 Dear partners, colleagues and friends of the Silesian University of Technology,

We express our deepest regret due to tragic consequences flowing from the Russian aggression and invasion of the Ukrainian territory, freedom, and peace. The information that we receive through the media convinces us that this aggression is aimed not only at military objects but also at innocent civilians. We strongly oppose all military operations on the Ukrainian territory! We admire the brave defensive actions of the Ukrainians!

 Dear Colleagues,

We feel the need to assure you of our solidarity and help during these difficult days.

HTW Berlin condemns in the strongest possible terms the military aggression against Ukraine, which is in contradiction to international law and the fundamental values to which the university subscribes.

 Today, all of Ukraine is appealing to world leaders to close the skies over our country. This means saving hundreds of thousands of children, women, the elderly, Ukrainians who want peace, not war.

The staff of West Ukrainian National University has collected more than 10,000 signatures in support of the President of Ukraine's appeal to NATO to close the skies over Ukraine. Each of us understands that the enemy does not spare anyone, as evidenced by the events of recent days. Let us unite for the sake of our families, our land, our future. Victory for us!

  Statement regarding the current war in Ukraine

This is to inform all BUP colleagues about the current situation for the Baltic University Programme (BUP) as an organisation in light of the war in Ukraine. The BUP strongly condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine and offers our wholeheartedly support to those colleagues and students most affected by the war.
