WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

  On December 2, at 1:00 pm, as part of the Lecture Series for International Lawyers, students will meet with Volodymyr Dzhydzhora, a Ukrainian diplomat and Representative for international cooperation of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights.

 Vladyslava Hubenko, Bohdana Hrytsyk, Veronika Turkula and Sofiia Brovchenko, students of WUNU Professional College of Economics, Law and Information Technologies, played in the latest stage of the Eastern European Zonal Volleyball Association championship as part of the U-17 girls' national team of Ukraine. Our volleyball players won two victories in Group A against Estonia and Georgia. In the match for bronze medals, the girls defeated the team of Belarus with a score of 3:1.

 Recently, the Department of Education and Pedagogy of WUNU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences organized the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovations in Education: Trends and Perspectives of Development". The co-organizers and participants of the event included representatives of higher education institutions of Ukraine and the world.

 Distributed Lab researcher Oleksandr Kurbatov gave an open lecture on "Blockchain and Decentralized Systems" for students majoring in Cybersecurity at West Ukrainian National University.

 Within the framework of the international projects VIMacS and WORK4CE, the teachers of the Department of Information and Computing Systems and Control and the staff of the Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems of West Ukrainian National University participated in the Training week for Teachers in Dortmund.

A Cooperation Agreement between West Ukrainian National University and Nanning College of Vocational Technology (People's Republic of China) was signed today. 

 WUNU students had a chance to speak with the youth of the universities of Germany and South Korea during an event organized by the School of International Communications of the Classical University of Ternopil.

 Recently, Ukrainian and foreign students of the Faculty of Law of West Ukrainian National University majoring in "International Law" took part in a simulated court hearing "Administrative expulsion of a foreign student."

 Volodymyr Voitovych, a student of West Ukrainian National University, won the Ukrainian Greco-Roman Wrestling Cup among athletes under 21. The competition wasa held in Kharkiv on November 20-21. We are proud of Volodymyr's determination and commitment and wish him new victories!
