RITA – “Region in Transition”
The program’s objective is comprehensive support for international cooperation through the transfer of Polish transformation experience: from assistance in developing project concepts and building partnerships to financing initiatives and providing ongoing information support.
Program goals:
Support democratic, social, and economic changes in the countries of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.
Ensure the transfer of Polish experience in the following areas:
social and societal issues;
education and upbringing;
entrepreneurship development;
cultural heritage;
development and support of the third sector and local self-government;
development of independent and modern media.
Develop international cooperation in the region.
Promote the formation of new leaders in the development of democracy, market economy, and civil society.
Main areas of activity and support:
Providing grant funding for joint projects between Polish organizations and their partners from target countries.
Organizing specialized workshops, meetings, and electronic courses. Ensuring the exchange of information and experience among activists.
Providing continuous information, competency, and consultancy support to co-financed entities at all stages of project implementation.
