A space for inclusion and interaction: The Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Centre at WUNU participates in Science Picnics in Ternopil
Recently, Ternopil’s Theatre Square was transformed into a major hub for science, creativity and interactive activities, hosting the long-awaited 13th Science Picnics. The Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Centre of West Ukrainian National University actively participated in this significant city event, presenting its own unique venue with adaptive games to residents and visitors alike.
Throughout the day, visitors to the event had a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Centre’s work, try their hand at adaptive games, take part in a variety of interactive activities, and fully experience an atmosphere of genuine collaboration, support and positive energy. The venue generated particular excitement and interest among children and young people, who took part in all the activities on offer with incredible enthusiasm and passion.
The Centre’s team would like to express their sincere gratitude to the organisers of the Science Picnics for this wonderful opportunity to be part of such an important social initiative and to present the work of the Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Centre to the wider public in the region.
The Polish-Ukrainian Adaptation Centre at WUNU operates as part of the project "Polish-Ukrainian Regional Adaptation Centres – VOL. 3‘, co-financed by the Polish-American Freedom Foundation as part of the ’RITA – Przemiany w regionie‘ programme, implemented by the ’Education for Democracy" Foundation.
