WEST UKRAINIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

   The staff of the Department of Psychology and Social Work of WUNU trains specialists in the following educational programs:

- Psychology (EPP of the initial level of higher education (junior bachelor's degree));
- Psychology (first (bachelor's) level of higher education);
- Social work (first (bachelor's) level of higher education);
- Psychology (second (master's) level of higher education);
- Social Work (second (master's) level of higher education);
- Digital technologies in the social sphere (second (master's) level of higher education);
- Social Work and Social Policy (full-time education program of the second (master's) level of higher education);
- Psychology (full-time education program of the third (educational and scientific) level of higher education, PhD).

  During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following professional disciplines: Psychology (Age and pedagogical psychology, Psychology of personality, Psychodiagnostics, Psychocorrection and psychotherapy, Experimental psychology, Psychological service in educational institutions, Advertising and PR-technologies, Psychological and pedagogical counseling, Psychology of creativity, etc.); Social work (Theory of social work, Technologies of social work, Legal support of social services, Socio-psychological examination, Social work with different groups of clients, Social partnership, Fundamentals of scientific research, Insurance management, Pension provision, Social projects, Psychology of social influence, etc.).

  After graduating from the Department of Psychology and Social Work, graduates can hold the following positions: social worker, state social inspector, child protection inspector, social pedagogue, civil service specialist, civil service personnel specialist, social work specialist.

 The Department of Psychology and Social Work actively cooperates with the following institutions and organizations: Ternopil District Center for Social Services for Families, Children and Youth; Department of Social Protection of Ternopil Regional State Administration; Department of Social Policy of Ternopil City Council; Ternopil Joint Administration of the Pension Fund of Ukraine of Ternopil Region, Ternopil Regional Clinical Psychoneurological Hospital, and Ternopil secondary schools, where students have the opportunity to gain practical experience, participate in internships, to apply for jobs.

 The Department of Psychology and Social Work implements international cooperation with foreign partners: Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University (Georgia), Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanitie (Poland), Catholic University in Ruzomberok (Slovakia), University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (Poland), Kujawy and Pomorze University in Bydgoszcz (Poland), Baltic INternational Academy (Riga, Latvia).
