We invite the students and faculty of WUNU to join the online course ‘Introduction to ESD – Education for Sustainable Development’ organised by the Baltic University Programme
The International Office of West Ukrainian National University invites students and academic staff to take part in the international online course ‘Introduction to ESD – Education for Sustainable Development’, organised by Åbo Akademi University (Finland) as part of The Baltic University Programme (BUP).
This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the fields of education for sustainable development, transdisciplinary and transformational learning, and to develop contemporary sustainability skills.
The course is delivered online (via the Moodle platform; a combination of individual and group work, a final report and a presentation).
Course dates: 15 September – 7 December 2026. Credit value: 5 ECTS credits (undergraduate level). Course language: English.
Practical component: the opportunity to present experiences of implementing sustainable development principles at WUNU and to familiarise oneself with case studies from other European higher education institutions.
Seven free places are available for representatives of universities participating in the BUP network (the tuition fee for studying via Åbo Akademi University’s Open University outside the network is 60 euros).
