UR AI Summit 2026 «Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence for Law, Science, Innovation and Society»
On 12–13 May 2026, Dr Prof Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi took part in the UR AI Summit 2026, ‘Next-Generation Artificial Intelligence for Law, Science, Innovation and Society’, at the invitation of Dr hab., Prof. Bogdan Wierzbiński, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Finance at the University of Rzeszów.
The event brought together representatives from academia, the public sector, IT companies and the business community to discuss current trends in the development and application of artificial intelligence in law, economics, education, public administration and society. Participants paid particular attention to issues relating to Big Data, cybersecurity, personal data protection, the use of AI in education and public administration, as well as the development of autonomous systems and generative artificial intelligence. During the meeting, the details of the application for the joint ‘LUKE Joint Calls’ project for 2026, funded by the National Science Foundation of Ukraine, were also finalised.
In addition, prof. Dluhopolskyi discussed areas for future collaboration between WUNU and representatives of the faculty in the fields of research and international relations.
