Mock court hearing on a civil case
Recently, the staff of the Department of International and European Law at WUNU organised a mock court hearing in a civil case, which proved to be a major event for the students and all those involved in the educational process.
The event was attended by a special guest: Monika Strus-Wołos, Doctor of Law, an expert at the Allerhand Institute and the Institute of Legislation and Parliamentary Work of the Supreme Bar Council, and a lawyer and managing partner at the law firm s.c. Strus-Wołos i Wołos (Warsaw, Poland).
During the event, participants had the opportunity to simulate a court trial, apply the theoretical knowledge they had acquired in practice, and develop their skills in legal argumentation, public speaking and working with procedural documents. The mock court hearing brought the learning process as close as possible to the real-life conditions of court practice.
