Scientific and Practical Conference: ‘Ukraine in the Context of Legal System Reform: Current Realities and International Experience’
On 24–25 April 2026, the 10th International Scientific and Practical Conference, ‘Ukraine in the Context of Legal System Reform: Current Realities and International Experience’, was held, organised by the staff of the Faculty of Law of West Ukrainian National University.
This year, the conference brought together participants from 13 countries and served as a platform for expert discussion of pressing issues concerning the development of the legal system, international law, security and the protection of human rights in the context of contemporary global challenges. The conference proceedings took place within the following sections: Realities and Prospects for the Development of the Rule of Law in Ukraine and the World; Global Challenges and Contemporary Trends in the Development of International Law; Security and Law Enforcement in the Context of Contemporary Challenges of Martial Law; Global Challenges and Human Rights: War, Displacement, Environmental Threats.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants—academics, practitioners and postgraduate students—for their active involvement, insightful presentations and fruitful discussions. It is precisely through such academic events that a space is created for professional dialogue, the advancement of legal scholarship and international academic cooperation.
