Easter celebrations for students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting
With the aim of preserving and promoting Ukrainian folk traditions, West Ukrainian National University hosted an Easter hayivka event entitled ‘On the Strings of Easter’. The event was organised by students from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting.
As part of the event, the young people recreated the authentic atmosphere of spring celebrations. The students performed hayivky, spring songs and ritual songs, accompanied by traditional movements and choral dances that reflect the profound meaning of Ukrainian ritual practices. The festive event was actively enjoyed not only by the participants but also by the guests, who experienced elements of folk rituals in a live setting.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting for their initiative, active involvement in promoting national culture and organising the event, as well as to all participants and guests for their engagement, support and respect for our traditional cultural heritage.
