The first stage of the All-Ukrainian German Language Olympiad, organised by StartDeutsch Schule
As part of the activities of the International Centre for Culture and Development of WUNU, the first stage of the All-Ukrainian German Language Olympiad for students of higher education institutions in Ukraine was held at West Ukrainian National University. Students from the B11 ‘Philology’ programme took an active part in the event, demonstrating a high level of language proficiency and a keen interest in further developing their professional skills.
The competition was organised by Markus Peuser, Director of StartDeutsch Schule, ensuring that the tasks met high European standards and allowing participants to test their knowledge in a format similar to that of international language exams.
The students praised the positive atmosphere of the event and the high standard of organisation. According to the future linguists, taking part in such intellectual competitions is an important part of their education, helping to develop communication and critical thinking skills and opening up new opportunities for academic growth.
Based on the results of this stage, three universities whose representatives achieved the best results will be selected to take part in the project’s final events. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the organisers for the high standard of the competition, and to the students for their active participation, perseverance and thirst for knowledge!
