From 23 to 27 March 2026, Roman Zvarych (Head of the Department of International Economic Relations at the B. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Relations of WUNU, Doctor of Economics, Professor) and Larisa Verhun (Associate Professor at the same department), represented our university at the prestigious international event. This year's Inholland International Staff Training Week was held in Rotterdam and Amsterdam (Netherlands).

The event was attended by over 35 educators from Canada, the USA, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Jordan, Spain, Belgium, Ukraine, Germany, Kazakhstan, the Czech Republic, Georgia and other countries. The event was organised by Inholland University of Applied Sciences – one of the leading Dutch universities, renowned for its innovative approaches to education and international cooperation.

The week’s programme was exceptionally rich and practical. Participants were introduced to Inholland University’s internationalisation strategy and its vision for teaching and assessment; they visited the creative lab, took part in poster presentations, speed-dating sessions and discussions on Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) under the Erasmus+ programme.

Particularly interesting were the tour of Rotterdam and Rijnhaven, the trip to the legendary Van Nelle Factory (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the visit to the Inholland campus in Amsterdam, the presentation of student projects at Startdock (including students from WUNU's International Business and International Management programmes), an interactive design workshop, and an introduction to the Erasmus+ KA171 programmes.

“Events like this are not just about sharing experiences, but also offer real opportunities for new joint projects, BIP programmes and research initiatives. We can already see the prospects for our students and lecturers,” said Professor Roman Zvarych.

The participation of representatives from WUNU in the Inholland International Staff Training Week has once again reinforced the university's international standing and opened up new horizons for the development of academic mobility, joint research and innovative educational programmes in the field of international economic relations.
