A team-building event for first-year students was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management
As part of an initiative launched by the newly elected student council of the Faculty of Economics and Management, a series of events aimed at helping future economists, managers, entrepreneurs and marketers develop their soft skills kicked off today at West Ukrainian National University. The first monthly meeting began with a team-building event for first-year students.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Andrii Kotsur, who welcomed the students and emphasised the importance of teamwork and the development of professional skills right from the very first days of their studies.
The event was facilitated by Oleksandra Ovsianiuk-Berdadina, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management, with organisational support provided by activists from the faculty’s student council.
During the team-building session, students played business games designed to foster creative thinking, innovative approaches to resource management within organisations, and effective communication skills between different functional teams.
The aim of these meetings is to give students the opportunity not only to deepen their professional knowledge, but also to practise teamwork skills, forge new interpersonal connections and gain motivation for their further academic and professional development.
