West Ukrainian National University has become a partner of the international SUPERNOVA project, supported by the Kingdom of Norway
West Ukrainian National University has become a partner in the international SUPERNOVA (Cooperation for Competence and Partnership Development) project, which has received funding under the UA-KOMP programme with the support of Norway. The SUPERNOVA project aims to develop competencies and long-term partnerships between the Kingdom of Norway and Ukraine in the fields of education, business, public administration and civil society.
The key idea is not only to promote knowledge about Ukraine, but also to establish sustainable international cooperation networks that will contribute to economic development, social adaptation, integration of Ukrainian experience, and preparation for post-crisis recovery. The participation of WUNU in the project is of particular importance, as the university is a bearer of unique Ukrainian experience in the field of international business, management, economics and education in conditions of war and transformation. It is this experience that is valuable to international partners and allows Ukrainian approaches to sustainability, adaptability and social partnership to be integrated into the European educational and professional space.
The implementation of SUPERNOVA opens up new opportunities for academic cooperation, joint research, the development of modern educational courses, and the involvement of Ukrainian universities in shaping international decisions. For West Ukrainian National University, this project marks another step towards strengthening internationalisation, consolidating Ukraine's position in the international academic community, and active participation in shaping the future of European partnership.
