An open lecture by Nicholas Barr, professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science
In 2025, the National Agency of Ukraine for Civil Service and the Higher School of Public Administration launched a series of open lectures on topical issues of public administration with the participation of leading experts from European schools of public administration.
As part of these initiatives, on 25 February 2026, from 11:00 to 12:30, there will be an open lecture by Professor Nicholas Barr of the London School of Economics and Political Science on ‘Human Capital, Social Protection and Economic Growth.’
Professor Barr has many years of experience working with the World Bank, the OECD, the IMF and various governments, and is the author of key works on the economics of the welfare state.
