International Winter School ‘Contemporary challenges in protecting children's rights’ — an opportunity to deepen your knowledge in the field of child rights protection
The Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin (Republic of Poland) invites students, researchers and professionals to join the international Winter School ‘Contemporary challenges in protecting children's rights’, which will be held online on the Microsoft Teams platform from 24 to 26 February 2026.
The event will be a great chance to get a deeper understanding of the current legal challenges in protecting children's rights at the international and national levels. Participants will have the opportunity to explore how legal systems protect children's rights in today's society and analyse the role of states, international organisations, and institutions in shaping effective child protection policies.
The programme will be useful for students and researchers in the fields of law, international relations, human rights, children's studies and political science; practising lawyers, judges, social workers, government officials and professionals working in the field of family law and child protection; anyone interested in children's rights and the response of states and international bodies to the challenges facing minors.
