The university community joined the charity initiative ‘St. Nicholas Day for All Ages’
On the eve of St. Nicholas Day, the teaching staff and students of WUNU joined the charity campaign ‘St. Nicholas Day for All Ages’, in which young people from our city, together with employees of the Ternopil charity fund ‘Caritas,’ will visit the homes of lonely elderly people to give them sweet gifts and share with them the warmth and joy of the coming holiday.
For many elderly people, this is not just a gift, but a sign of respect, support and understanding that there are caring people nearby who are always ready to help.
We would like to express our gratitude to all our educators and students of West Ukrainian National University for their active participation, in particular the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (Dean – A. Kizyma), the Faculty of Economics and Management (Dean – A. Kotsur), the Trade Union Committee of West Ukrainian National University (Chair – R. Brukhanskyi), the Institute of Advanced Educational Technologies (Director – S. Pytel), the Student Council of the University Campus (Chair – B. Bihar), the University Student Council (Chair – V. Hutsuliak) and the administration of WUNU.
Let us remember that kindness is an action, and even a small act can change someone's day, and sometimes even their whole life. By joining in good deeds together with Caritas Ukraine, we are gradually building a culture of mercy and humanity in Ukraine, even through small acts.
