Students majoring in D5 ‘Marketing’ and teachers of the Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics of West Ukrainian National University took part in an educational trip to Krakow (Republic of Poland).

During the trip, students visited a number of leading scientific and cultural institutions. One of the highlights was a visit to the Brain Research Centre at Jagiellonian University, where students observed a real-time experiment involving brain scanning of a volunteer. The centre's specialists demonstrated how MRI and EEG technologies work, explained the process of processing brain signals, and shared the specifics of applying neurodata in science and marketing. The opportunity to see a complex brain scanning experiment and the interpretation of the results by the centre's specialists was a unique experience for future neuromarketing specialists.

No less impressive was the visit to the Collegium Maius museum, the heart of the Jagiellonian University. The students visited the historic room where Nicolaus Copernicus lived and worked, and viewed his original devices, instruments, manuscripts and documents. Getting acquainted with the workspace of this outstanding scientist gave them the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of the era of great discoveries.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Cooperation with WUNU was also signed by Zhanna Savchuk, CEO of the Neuro Union neuro-marketing research centre.

A separate part of the programme was an excursion through pre-Christmas old Krakow, with an analysis of city branding, advertising practices and communications in public spaces.

The trip was a valuable experience for future marketers, as it allowed them to see the work of European scientific institutions, broaden their professional horizons and inspired students to further develop their skills in the field of marketing.

The staff of the Marketing Department would like to thank Liudmyla Savanets, Head of the Department of International and European Law, for her organisational support in arranging the educational trip, as well as all participants for their active involvement and worthy representation of WUNU at the international level.
