Educational visit of law students to financial detectives of the BES
Students majoring in Law Enforcement and National Security, together with Yulia Muravska, Head of the Department of Security and Law Enforcement, and Olha Karapetian, Associate Professor of the Department, made an educational visit to the Territorial Office of the Bureau of Economic Security in Lviv Region.
During the meeting, the BES specialists gave the students a detailed overview of the structure and key areas of work of the Bureau. Future law enforcement officers and analysts learned about modern analytical tools used to detect economic crimes; the specifics of detectives' work in the field of combating financial offences; practical cases demonstrating real mechanisms for identifying and documenting economic risks; requirements and competencies that a modern specialist in the field of economic security must possess.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to ways of preparing for internships at the BES, opportunities for further cooperation, and employment prospects for students who see their professional future in the field of protecting the economic interests of the state.
