Studying in the Netherlands shattered my stereotypes about education
Vladyslava Kryvenchuk, a student in the MENM-21 group, shares her impressions of studying under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme: "It's an incredible experience that opens up a whole new dimension of learning and personal development for me. From the very first days, I felt how different the academic environment is: all courses are based on practicality, interaction and the development of critical thinking. Teachers encourage students to ask questions, discuss, seek their own solutions and work in teams.
The multicultural composition of the groups makes a special impression – working alongside students from Austria, Italy, Spain, Germany, Canada and many other countries is extremely inspiring. It helps you look at familiar things from a new angle and broaden your worldview.
The Erasmus+ programme is about more than just studying; it is also a unique cultural exchange. Living in the Netherlands provides an opportunity to become more familiar with the local culture, traditions, and everyday life. The pace of life is completely different here, as are the style of communication and approach to work and education. Every day, I learn to adapt, become more independent and open, and this, in my opinion, is the great value of the programme.
In addition to studying, Erasmus+ allows you to travel, explore Europe, and participate in various international events. This fills every day with new experiences, acquaintances, and opportunities for development.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Department of International Economic Relations and West Ukrainian National University for their support, trust, and for providing me with such a valuable opportunity.
Participating in the Erasmus+ programme was an important step in my professional development and I am sure that this experience will have a positive impact on my future."
