Supervisory Board member Jan van Zwieten met with the university administration
A meeting between Jan Van Zwieten, member of the Supervisory Board, and the university administration took place at West Ukrainian National University. During the dialogue, Jan Van Zwieten received information on the educational, scientific and international activities of our higher education institution, in particular the positioning of WUNU in national and international rankings. Jan Van Zwieten analysed in detail international partnerships, student mobility and the participation of WUNU scientists in international conferences.
He also discussed the university's strategic plans for the new academic year: ‘I want to offer WUNU educational programmes with double degrees in business administration and finance, which is very timely now, as well as attract more foreign students to study at WUNU.’
Today, more and more young people are seeking to obtain an international education and discover new opportunities for learning and professional development. Creating conditions for attracting students to the global scientific community is one of the main priorities of our university. At a time when international cooperation is becoming a guarantee of Ukraine's integration into the global community, students' experience of studying abroad and interacting with foreign colleagues opens up new prospects for the development of the state on the world stage.
In addition, WUNU Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk spoke about receiving an international certificate of quality for services in the field of higher education, as well as the efforts being made to help students who have come from different parts of Ukraine adapt psychologically.
