Participants immerse themselves in the practical world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and master modern approaches that shape the key competencies of future specialists.

During the course ‘Digital Design and 3D Modelling,’ students learned about the main types of materials used for 3D printing and the differences between the types of model filling. Teachers examined in detail the structure of a 3D printer, its design features, and the operating principles of its main components and mechanisms. During the practical part of the course, students learned how to calibrate the platform, replace individual parts, and load plastic. As a result, participants acquired basic skills in equipment maintenance and preparation for operation.

In the ‘Computer Modelling’ course, participants created a UML use case diagram for group STEM projects using the online service draw.io. Students identified the main actors, use cases, and relationships between them, which allowed them to better understand the structure and logic of the modelled system. In addition, participants learned about the theoretical foundations of UML activity diagrams, their purpose, main elements, and examples of their use in modern design.

During the Mathematics and Decision Logic course, students worked on topics related to combinatorics and probability theory, which contribute to the development of logical and analytical thinking, as well as decision-making skills in conditions of uncertainty. Participants not only solved mathematical problems, but also discussed the application of mathematical methods in real life.

The STEM-English Pitching Lab course focused on self-presentation in a business environment and the first steps in building a career in STEM professions. Participants identified the skills and personal qualities necessary for professional development, created their own CVs on the European Europass portal to apply for engineering jobs, and discussed typical questions that may arise during an interview. Thanks to the interactive desks in the STEM lab, the students were able to practise their communication skills and gain experience in building effective professional self-presentation.

Studies at the STEM school continue. Each course combines scientific depth with practical focus, providing participants with the opportunity to develop critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary competencies necessary for successful implementation in today's technological environment.
