Training on ‘How to support yourself and others in crisis situations’ was held as part of the TURBO project
As part of the TURBO project (“The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises”), exceptionally warm and useful training sessions were held on “How to support yourself and others in crisis situations”.
Our participants immersed themselves in an atmosphere of open communication and mutual support under the guidance of a certified trainer, specialist at the Education and Research Centre for Social and Psychological Support and Resilience, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Social Work – Zoriana Krupyk.
There were many heart-to-heart conversations about how to be there for others in difficult times, notice their emotions, take care of your own resources, and maintain your inner balance. Participants received practical advice, took part in interesting exercises, and even found time for sincere smiles that warm the soul and give strength.
These workshops make for yet another step towards creating a space where support and understanding are part of everyday life. Even in a crisis, it's important to remember that we're stronger together.
The TURBO project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under Grant Agreement No. 101129315.
