As part of the international project ‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’ (TURBO), the second group of internally displaced persons enrolled in the Entrepreneurship course mastered the discipline of Business Psychology and Management.

Business does not start with numbers and plans — it starts with people. That is why this discipline became the first and most important stage of training.

Together with Eleonora Yashchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Psychology and Social Work and specialist at the Resilience Centre, participants explored how psychological knowledge helps entrepreneurs maintain confidence, develop their potential, and find resources for resilience in difficult conditions. The course combined theory with practice: from a deeper understanding of personal development and self-support mechanisms to exercises and practising self-regulation skills.

For internally displaced persons and anyone facing new challenges, this experience has been particularly valuable, as it has helped them to see psychology not only as a science, but as a real tool for overcoming difficulties and moving forward with confidence.

The TURBO project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under Grant Agreement No. 101129315.
