Step by step in the legal field
As part of the TURBO project (‘The Universities’ Reaction to Big Obstructions: Building resilient higher education to respond and manage societal crises’), internally displaced persons, together with Oksana Shevchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of Constitutional, Administrative and Financial Law, studied the regulatory framework governing the organisation and conduct of entrepreneurial activity.
During the classes, they learned about topics such as: creation and state registration of enterprises and sole proprietorships; liquidation and reorganisation of businesses; guarantees and protection of entrepreneurs' rights; control and liability; interaction with state agencies and other economic entities.
The classes were held in a form of dialogue, with participants asking questions, sharing their thoughts and finding practical answers. The training provided participants with knowledge, tools for starting a business and a better understanding of legal procedures. This is especially important for IDPs who are starting a new life in a new place.
This project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under Grant Agreement No. 101129315.
